Mary soon felt like an old friend after we booked her for our wedding, and having a zoom call and then meeting up for a coffee to finalise the details ahead of our wedding.
Mary is a warm, positive and enthusiastic person, who has a real air of calm, which made us feel comfortable about the idea of having our photos taken (we’re awkward turtles haha!) on our big day!
Then on the day itself, we couldn’t have asked for a better photographer for us as a couple, and we’re very glad we found and booked her based on her stunning portfolio and previous wedding albums, and even more so after meeting and working with her 🙂
Mary was so much fun, and we mostly talked and laughed throughout the day (Along with her industry colleagues and friends, the videographers Posh Bear) which helped us relax and be authentically ourselves with each other in front of the camera.
It resulted in us actually enjoying the couples shots on the day and not feeling like we had to look or behave in a certain way, and Mary really captured this ease we felt in her photos.
Her skilled eye and talent for observing and capturing the vivid and touching key moments between our guests and us as a couple at our wedding is demonstrated in the quality of the amazing photos she takes.
Her photos have created an atmospheric, colourful, almost tangible, time capsule of our perfect day, and that’s just in the first 23 sneak peak photos we’ve seen! We’re very grateful for Mary’s work and can’t wait to see the rest ❤️

What to say about Mary that the other reviews haven’t said! I had admired Mary’s photos long before we got engaged - so when we started to plan the wedding asking her to photograph the day was a no brainer. From the very start she was kind, funny and understood our vision perfectly - answering our queries with expertise. On the actual day all of our guests remarked how lovely she was, and how she was able to blend in with everyone while capturing the most beautiful photos. On top of all of this, I am convinced she is a human ray of sunshine - her joy is very infectious! Thank you so much Mary, for being such a perfect part of a perfect day! 🌿✨

Due to COVID the first time we met Mary was on our wedding day! She was really friendly and made us and all the guests feel at ease. We decided to have an intimate wedding on the 18th June and it was an absolute honour having Mary there to photograph the day. Her natural style suited us down to a T and she made us feel really comfortable all day long. We've only had the sneak peek photos so far but they are already beautiful, Mary's eye for a good photo and the quality of the editing it stunning. Can't wait to see the rest of the album and invite Mary back for our big wedding when covid restrictions lift!
In February 2023 we invited Mary back to capture our big wedding day! It was so good having her there again as part of our wedding party and really felt we had a good friend with us, not just a photographer. Mary was again absolutely amazing and captured every part of the day. We did a few things differently this time with a wedding breakfast photo dash and a golden hour sexy poses shoot, Mary was totally up for trying something a little different and these photos came out better than I could have ever hoped for.
I can't recommend Mary more highly and will certainly be using her for future family shoots in the years to come.
